Milo and Friends Return to Punk Rock Bowling

Punk Rock Bowling is well known for bringing together a collection of punk rock legends. This year was no different. From, Flag performing classic Black Flag songs, to Rancid, Fear, The Stranglers, Dead Boys, to the headliners The Special. A great collection of talent and nostalgia for everyone.

The Vandals had the crowd buzzing and dancing throughout their performance. Mixture of comedic dialogue and classic hits like “My girlfriend’s dead” and “Don’t stop me now,” had the crowd feeling good. The Descendants, despite some technical difficulties, powered through a hit filled set that had the crowd buzzing as they streamed into the streets of Downtown Las Vegas.

The Swedes Conquer Punk Rock Bowling

If there was an award for top performance it would be a draw between Refused and The Hives. The Swedish duo of bands brought their Scream Team tour to PRB and delivered performance that will be discussed by concert goers for a long time. The hardcore legends left the crowd speechless, but not before a sea of people gathered around lead singer Dennis Lyxzén took his performance into the crowd.

The Hives, in true rock n roll fashion; came, saw, and conquered Las Vegas and Punk Rock Bowling. Welcoming everyone to “Fabulous Hives, Nevada” and thanking all the supporting acts. They literally brought the crowd to knees delivering one hit after another including, “Main offender,” crowd participating version of “Tick Tick Boom” and in no other terms Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist declaring the Hives are back showcasing there new track “I’m Alive!”
