It’s happening! After months of rumors and speculations, Spider-Man will be apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Marvel and Sony announced a partnership that will officially bring him into the MCU in an “upcoming film” which most people are speculating to be Captain America: Civil War. Spider-Man will then star in his own new film, which will be released by Sony on July 28, 2017 with Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal both co-producing it.
The date of the film will then push back four other MCU films including Thor: Ragnarok, which will release on November 3, 2017. It is also highly speculated that Andrew Garfield will not reprise his role as Spider-Man, but that is not yet officially known.
