This November 14–16, 2025, the art-and-collectibles community converged in Las Vegas to celebrate the 20-year milestone of DesignerCon: the event that launched as a niche designer-toy convention and has grown into North America’s largest underground art & collectibles show.
Why this anniversary matters
• From its roots in Los Angeles and Anaheim, DesignerCon has moved to Las Vegas; a bold expansion into a massive venue where nightlife-meets-art.
• The show now claims to feature over 700 artists, hundreds of vendors, and a footprint of hundreds of thousands of square feet, bringing together designer toys, urban/pop art, apparel, customization, digital drops, and more.
• For collectors, artists and communities, the 20-year mark is a symbolic reflection of how “street” and “toy” culture have grown into mainstream design and art world relevance.
Highlights from the show
The big names on site
• Ron English (“Popaganda” pioneer) had official signings scheduled at the show and was featured as one of the top in-person artists.
• Tara McPherson (known for her dreamy, mythic figurative works) made a strong showing: her booth was highlighted in pre-show announcements and online, and she released exclusive digital/physical pieces at the event.
• Fafi (French graffiti and toy artist whose “Fafinettes” universe has inspired designer collector culture) was also present, with dedicated booth activities and new merch drops.
Special features & trends
• Digital meets physical: The digital collectibles platform VeVe ran exclusive drops tied to the show, including pieces by Tara McPherson and others.
• Collector culture in full force: Limited-edition collabs (for example, a special shoe-wear drop with major brands) marked the 20-year celebration.
DesignerCon Las Vegas 2025 was more than a convention, it was a celebration of two decades of alternative art culture moving from the fringe to the mainstream, from toys to fine art, from graffiti to gallery. The event underscored that the worlds of pop, street, collectible and cultural art are increasingly intertwined.
