At Dustland‘s One Year Anniversary kick off show, put on by Bad Moon Booking, the venue was filled with laughter, World Cup excitement, old friends reconnecting, new friendships beginning, and the soundtrack of a community that continues to grow together.
Go Bold and The Rifleman are musical acts who always delight the audience with their music and on stage presence, and that night was no exception. Go Bold filled the venue with their infectious energy, while The Rifleman captivated everyone with their powerful lyrics, unmistakable sound, and unique style. Together, they created the perfect soundtrack for a warm summer evening shared among music lovers. It was also a fitting welcome to the new GC Records act, Peaceful Retreat, who headlined the show with their beautifully trippy tunes. Not only was this a celebration of a beautiful new Las Vegas venue celebrating an anniversary, but it was the GC family welcoming aboard a new musical act. It’s enough to melt your heart!
GC Records is one of those beautiful reminders that the biggest dreams often begin with just two people who believe in each other. What started as the vision of Heela and Shahab back in 1999—a couple united by love, creativity, and a deep passion for punk, rock, and every genre that deserves to be heard—has grown into something truly special.
Now, as they approach three decades of building this journey together, what stands out most isn’t just everything they’ve accomplished—it’s that their vision keeps expanding. They continue opening doors for emerging artists, creating opportunities, and proving that independent music thrives when it’s built with heart.
