J.K. Rowling’s Pottermore website was updated to include J.K. Rowling’s detailed descriptions of Castelobruxo, Mahoutokoro, and Uagadou.

Mahoutokoro

This Japanese school has the smallest student body of the 11 wizarding schools around the world. The school is made of mutton-fat jade and is located on a volcanic island. Students at Mahoutokoro have an “outstanding” reputation for Quidditch.

Uagadou

Uagadou is located in Africa and is the largest of all the wizarding schools. The only address ever given for the school is “Mountains of the Moon,” and students here often cast spells without wands.

Castelobruxo

Castelobruxo can be found deep within the rainforest in Brazil and looks a little like a temple. The school offers a popular exchange program for European witches and wizards to study South American flora and fauna.

Ilvermorny
