I’ve been waiting so long to see this picture and I am so, so pleased right now. I’ve debated whether or not Luke would be wearing traditional Jedi garb because 1. the Jedi Temple was disbanded years before his birth 2. I had a theory that he would become the new villain in this arc 3. Would they make sense to wear 30 years after killing Darth Vader? Seem to be a bit outdated at that point, especially after only really seeing them once on Obi-Wan while traveling from his home, to Mos Eisley to the Death Star. He really only had maybe a few weeks with Obi-Wan to see the garb.

Despite all of this, actually seeing Mark Hamill in traditional garb for the first time ever (he never donned the cloak in the Original Trilogy, only a black variation in Return of the Jedi) is the icing on an already info-filled week of Star Wars news.

BRB, going to go smile forever now.
